If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on Indianapolis’ B105.7, here’s the rundown!

  • Taylor’s Bakery in Indy and Fishers is celebrating their 100th anniversary today! Stop in to either of Taylor’s locations until 6pm tonight for a free dozen donut holes! And you’ve got to check out their beautiful 10-layer cake at their 62nd & Allisonville store which has photos for each decade of their business.
  • So this past weekend I went to see Silver Linings Playbook, and my friend and I got free popcorn (my movie ticket was also free, but I’ll save that for another day). AMC Theatres is having different deals throughout February on the major blockbuster hits. I have to laugh because today & tomorrow if you see Les Miserables, you can print a coupon for free French fries. Next Sunday & Monday you can see the movie Lincoln for just $5. Print your coupons at AMC’s Best Picture Showcase.

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on Indianapolis’ B105.7, here’s the rundown!

  • Did you know there are dentist offices that will pay children for their Halloween candy, as an incentive not to eat so many sweets. Well I found a website called Halloween Candy Buy Back. Enter your zip code and find the nearest participating location – there are at least 10 around the Indianapolis area!  You can also donate your candy to military troops!

Hoosier Giveaway: Win Children’s Museum Admission & Wicked Workshop Tickets!

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis‘ haunted house has been a favorite place for Hoosiers to be haunted for 49 years! Each year presents a different theme concocted by the Museum Guild, this year being a Wicked Workshop presented by PNC Bank.

In the Wicked Workshop you’ll see firsthand how witches and ghouls prepare for Halloween in their fright factory! Hats and brooms are cranked out in the Broom Room, jack-o-lanterns are carved in the Gorey Greenhouse and tempting sweets are made in the Sugar Shock.

I was invited to preview the Wicked Workshop yesterday, and while my youngest did ask me to hold her a couple of times, she was enchanted with the sights, especially the glowing jack-o-lanterns.

And you must check out the spooky video preview that my friend Heather over at Inexpensively created!

The Wicked Workshop opens to the public this Saturday October 13th. For those that scare easily, there is a lights-on friendly option as well as the darker, spooktacular version. You can find all the times and details on the Wicked Workshop website.

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on Indianapolis’ B105.7, here’s the rundown!

  • The popular tv show Dirty Jobs has a cleaning product on the shelves of Walmart and Lowes. You can print a coupon for Buy One, Get One Free on any Dirty Jobs Cleaning Product at FreeDirtyJobs.com. Walmart has Dirty Jobs Multi-Surface Cleaner priced at $1.97, so you could get two bottles for about a dollar each after applying the coupon.
  • There are a ton of Hasbro toy and game coupons over at Coupons.com right now, print them now because they’ll disappear before they expire, and hold onto them until we see a great sale, you can even use manufacturer’s coupons at Toys R Us.
  • And the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Guild’s Wicked Workshop Haunted House will be open to the public this Saturday, with both a friendly lights-on option and a spookier dark version. Tickets are $6.50 for members or $7 for non-members, under 2 are free, and you can pick up discount tickets at Marsh, AAA and the Children’s Museum store.
