UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed. Congrats Holly E.!
I can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since the first Earth Fare opened in Indiana (Noblesville, to be precise). The following summer their 2nd Indiana store opened in Carmel. Now a year later, they got wise and entered the south side area near Greenwood, Indiana; an area lacking in options for natural and organic groceries.
Earth Fare Greenwood has come in with a bang, and a new look – from their spiffy new logo in the photo above, to a different look & feel when you walk into the new store. Gone is the huge food philosophy sign, but no worries – their philosophy is safe & sound, sprinkled throughout the store, and includes:
- No high fructose corn syrup.
- No artificial fats. Or artificial trans fats. Or artificial colors. Or artificial flavors. Or artificial sweeteners. Or artificial preservatives.
- No bleached or bromated flour.
- No antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones in their fresh meat or dairy.
Quite frankly, if a product carries any of the above, you will not find it on their shelves.

UPDATE: This contest is now closed. Congrats Jen B.!
Do you know of friends that have already started their Christmas shopping? I do… And one of my friends posted a photo on Facebook showing a craft store that has walls of Christmas ornaments in stock. (I know!!)
Am I doing my Christmas shopping yet? Heck no, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t see things when browsing sites like Zazzle, and think “Pam would like that…” or “I should send that link to Larry so he knows something I’d like…”
You may have gone to the pool today (we did), but retailers have been blowing out the fake snow for their Christmas TV commercials for weeks now. And many online retailers are offering Christmas in July promotions, to get those wheels turning in your mind.
