I do my best to pack healthy lunches for my kids, but always with a sweet treat for the end. When I shop for juice, I really try to buy 100% juice with no high fructose corn syrup. I can’t say that I buy organic milk on a regular basis – I know the benefits but sometimes honestly I just choke a bit on the price, especially buying 3 gallons a week.

When it comes to drink options for my kiddos – especially when I’m packing a lunch for school or camp – I will get juice pouches (again, 100% juice or sometimes the water-juice blend) because I know my kids will drink them.

    We love these GoPicnic things – they don’t need to be refrigerated and they have gluten free varieties.

    I am usually a water fiend for my kids – but we’ve been discovering some healthier juices this summer and I’ve been wavering on my water stance. Especially when I have one child who doesn’t eat a lot of the healthy foods I pack and I feel like I just need to get some mostly healthy calories into her. So liquid is a great option for our summer camp days!!

    I pack for my two daughters fruit, string cheese, yogurt, sometimes wraps, and a treat quacker oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

    I definitely Love wraps! They are so convenient, and I can stuff them full of veggies and hummus!

    My lunch is usually a salad with tofu or beans, an apple/fruit and a chunk of dark chocolate

    My son had a peanut-free class last year, so we had to find alternatives to his favorite peanut butter. We tried Sunbutter and he now prefers it over regular PB. I pack it as a dip for pretzels, apples or celery.

    Some fresh fruits and veggies, some lean protein, and some kind of healthy fat. For example, a salad with chicken, avocado, and olive oil on it and a piece of fruit.

    I usually pack tuna and salad. Otherwise my husband will pack me leftovers from the meals he makes from scratch.
