b105.7

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!

  • Normally this time of year we’re craving a bowl of soup to warm ourselves up with. This week at Marsh you can get Campbell’s Chunky Soup for just 75¢ each when you buy two. They’re on sale for $1.25 each, and you can print a coupon for 50¢ off 2 , which will double to a dollar off, making your final price $1.50 for 2 cans.
  • Also at Marsh, when you buy $25 in participating P&G items, you’ll save $10 instantly at checkout. This is deducted before any coupons, so you can significantly lower your total out-of-pocket expense with P&G coupons, matter of fact there were new P&G coupons in this Sunday’s paper, so check those out before you head to Marsh.
  • There’s a huge savings on diapers at Target this week. Save $5/1 box of Huggies 92 count or higher with this Target Bodega printable coupon. Match that with a manufacturer’s coupon for 1.50 off which was in last week’s Smartsource insert, for $6.50 off total. When you buy 2 value packs of Huggies for 29.99 each, you’ll get a Target gift card back for $15 – half the cost of one pack of diapers! It comes down to a $30 savings when you factor coupons and the free Target gift card.

I’ve posted several printable coupons recently here at Chaos Is Bliss, and you can always check my favorite sources for printable coupons.

  • You can get a FREE gallon of milk or a ½ gallon of Simple Truth Organic Milk at Kroger just through today (1/11/12), when you buy 4 Kellogg’s, Kashi or Keebler items. There are several coupons that match with these brands on Coupons.com as well as in recent Sunday papers.  Check out my favorite sources for printable coupons as well as digital coupons that can be loaded onto your Kroger card, and deducted automatically at checkout.
  • Another place to find a Kashi coupon is at Recyclebank. You can join Recyclebank and pledge to be earth friendly, collect points by taking fun quizzes about recycling and being green, and use those points toward prizes and coupons (like Kashi, Ruby Tuesday’s, McDonald’s and more).

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!

Marsh Freebie:

If there is a Marsh Supermarket in your area, sign up for their email list so you’ll have firsthand notice of promotions like the triple coupon offer from like last weekend.

Every week Marsh has an online printable coupon for a 4-day Freebie. The offer this week is for a FREE 10 oz package of Eckrich smoky links. Print the coupon now, and use it anytime between now and Sunday 12/18/11.

Like printing coupons from home? Check out my favorite sources for printable coupons.

Target Free Gift Card with Purchase:

If you are looking for the latest gaming systems, tech gadgets or other hot products for Christmas, Target has several gift card offers going on right now.

Also be sure to “Like” Target’s Facebook page and check announcements on their wall. Twice now I’ve seen coupons for a $10 gift card when you purchase $50 from Target in stores. This weekend they’re offering a $10 gift card when you purchase $75 in stores, however there is no printable coupon to go with it, you’ll receive your gift card at checkout.

TIP:  The best way to maximize these types of coupons is to present your $X/$X coupon first when your total is at least the minimum it needs to be, then present any additional manufacturer or store coupons to get your total out of pocket expense down. Target’s system allows for this; however at some stores (Kohl’s and Toys R Us come to mind) you’re pretty much out of luck, they’ll sometimes take multiple coupons but the $X/$X is applied last. Boo.

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!

Nintendo 3DS just $145 through TODAY!

  • Target’s having a 4-day “Beat the Rush” pre-Black Friday sale. You can grab up a Nintendo 3DS for just $145 during this 4-day sale! If you have a Target Red Card, you’ll get another 5% off plus FREE shipping on your order!  You can also read about another fab deal on a Barbie Estate Furniture Set at 50% off after sale + coupon!

Bonus Gift Card Offers:

When family members ask my husband what he wants for Christmas, his standard answer is Gift Cards!  There are all kinds of gift card deals going on right now. I look at the best value, like to get a $10 card for spending $100, that’s only 10%. I’d rather get 20% or more for it to feel like it’s a good value.

There are several $5-for-$25 deals which is much more reasonable. I like not having to spend $100 at just one location to get a bonus.  Here are the $5/$25 deals:

  • Half Price Books
  • Joe’s Crab Shack
  • IHOP
  • Max & Erma’s
  • Spaghetti Factory
  • Macaroni Grill

But my favorite is at Children’s Place you can get a $10 e-gift card when you spend just $40 on e-gift cards!

See the full list of gift card deals and more holiday savings!

Eclipse Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack just $12.99 w/Purchase:

  • Fandango has a promotion going on right now, when you purchase tickets to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,  you’ll receive 70% off the Eclipse Blu-ray and DVD combo pack! this makes it just $12.99. You’ll receive an email with a discount code after purchasing your tickets.

Kohl’s Cash now $15 for every $50 spent:

  • I love shopping at Kohl’s, and I super love it when you can earn Kohl’s cash! Usually Kohl’s cash is awarded as $10 for every $50 you purchase. Now through next Sunday the 27th, Kohl’s will give you $15 for every $50 spent in-store and online. Plus when you spend $50 your order will ship free. Use coupon code GOBBLE15 to save 15% on your order!

Today’s Money-Saving Tips on B105.7

by Ann-Marie on August 9, 2011

If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!

McDonald’s Coupons:

If you still have Sunday’s Indianapolis Star, check out the USA Weekend section. Included in the middle, sticking up out of the top is a coupon card for a FREE Mango Pineapple fruit smoothie with the purchase of any sandwich, as well as a FREE Carmel Mocha with the purchase of any sandwich.

There is also a free-standing insert in the Sunday paper for 12 more McDonald’s coupons, so be sure to pull those out before recycling your paper so you can have a little treat for yourself or your family this week!

Check around Chaos Is Bliss for more restaurant deals!

State Fair Discounts & Free Tickets:

Today 8/9 and next Tuesday 8/16 are $2 Tuesdays. Print a Turkey Hill Indiana State Fair voucher which will get you in to the Fair for just $2 per person.  All rides are $2 each, and many vendors will have food samples for $2 each as well. Plus look for the Turkey Hill tent where you can pick up coupons and sample their awesome ice cream too!

Also at the State Fair this Saturday, if you’re 18 or older you can turn in your State Fair admission ticket to the Hoosier Lottery Booth at the Grandstand for a free lottery ticket!

I have compiled my favorite State Fair discounts, then also be sure to check the State Fair’s site for the full list.

SavingStar Digital Coupons:

SavingStarDigital grocery coupons are becoming more and more popular.  There’s no need for scissors and no need to print.  SavingStar is one that I go to. Plug in your zip code and you’ll see the stores in your area that accept their digital coupons.

Browse their available coupons and find those you want to use, and save them to your store’s loyalty shopping card, such as a Kroger Plus card or CVS Extra Care card. Then when you go into the store, purchase your items and scan your card, the savings are deducted automatically.

For other digital coupon sources, try Cellfire. Also check my recent coupons to see if there’s any you may have missed.
