Oklahoma Tornado Disaster: How you can help

by Ann-Marie on May 22, 2013

Help Oklahoma

Part of why I love my ‘job’ as a blogger is the connections with other bloggers – complete strangers who many times become cyber-friends, across the country.

Carrie over at Coupon Closet lives in the area that was hit, in Moore, OK. While her family and home escaped danger, many close to her suffered tremendous damage to their homes, and friends have sadly lost their children and other loved ones.

Carrie put together this list of resources that are accepting donations for the Oklahoma tornado relief.

This is from Carrie …

Now is the time for us to help.

As couponers, we can unite and help out the victims. The saying “something is better than nothing” is not true in this case. They NEED specific items.

I am updating this post REGULARLY with places that you can donate. Right now, MONEY is what they need. Any amount is good. Any link that I include on here are secure links and are safe and your money will be put to good use.

Monetary Donations:

You can donate any monetary donations via the United Methodist Church and the money will go directly to those affected.
