City Sidewalks

If you missed my Friday Freebies this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!

  • When you’ve done online shopping at some places like Toys R Us, Nike, North Face and more, you may have seen a little logo for Shoprunner, which gives you free 2-day shipping. It normally runs $79 a year for a membership to ShopRunner, but right now when you make a $100 online purchase you’ll get a free membership.
  • City Sidewalks is going on downtown on Georgia Street, tonight from 5-9pm and tomorrow from noon to 9pm. Take your family to this event – admission is free and enjoy a live Nativity, a visit with Santa, kids activities and more.
  • Indy With Kids has lots of ways you can celebrate the holidays around Indy, including a big list of the best Christmas light displays around town, and a free sky-high view of the downtown Circle of Lights. Tomorrow and Sunday from 2-10pm the Observation Deck at the City County building is open, and it gives you a beautiful view of all of the downtown lights.

If you’d like to hear audio from today and the past couple of weeks, you can visit my media page.

You may also like to poke around my recent Indiana deals, and my most popular categories online savings and printable coupons. Plus there may still be some past deals I’ve mentioned on B105.7 still available!

20 Christmas Treats for Kids

by Ann-Marie on December 8, 2014

Christmas Treats for Kids

At such a magical time of year, it fills my heart with joy seeing my kids’ excitement, like when our older children pick up one of our many Christmas books and read to their little sister, or even little things like changing the day on our Christmas countdown ornament.

Normally when I’m in the kitchen, I prefer to go it alone, practically scatting the kids away with a broom. But Christmastime is different. I want each of them to have memories of sharing time with me baking cookies, decorating treats and packaging up delicious gifts to share with friends.

Enjoy this season with your children, and spread some cheer with these 20 Christmas Treats for Kids!
