Quick Tip: Walmart Free Ship Site-to-Store

by Ann-Marie on February 27, 2011

If you are normally a Walmart shopper and you’re not shopping Walmart online for household items, I have to ask, why the heck not? Shipping charges perhaps? Well hold the phone, because a LARGE number of items found on can be shipped site-to-store, for F-R-E-E! And if not, many items ship to your home for just 97¢ per item!

Just  a couple weeks ago I put up new curtains in my son’s room, but I did not have a pair of holdbacks yet. I checked Walmart’s website and found these Canopy Drapery Holdbacks in Bronze, priced at just $6.88, and while they were available with FREE site-to-store shipping, I did choose to have the holdbacks shipped to my home, along with these adorable rain boots, which  unfortunately were not available site-to-store. For both items however, I only paid $2.97 shipping!

I’ve done the free site-to-store shipping when I needed a new mattress pad, crib sheets, and even toys.

So the next time you need something for around the home and you don’t necessarily need to see it in person, consider Walmart’s free site-to-store shipping option. It’s free, and super convenient – you’ll receive an email when it’s available for pick-up, just bring that email in and they’ll direct you where to go to pick up your items.

Kiwi Magazine on Mamapedia

by Ann-Marie on January 15, 2011

“Growing families the natural and organic way”, that’s what Kiwi magazine is all about. It’s chock full of eco-friendly crafts, nutritious and wholesome recipes, and tips on how to live naturally.

Sound like you?

You can get a year-long subscription to the 2010 Parent’s Choice Magazine for just $6 with Mamapedia’s Sweet Deal, now through Tuesday 1/18/11 (also available is a 2-year subscription for just $10).

Mamapedia is a social shopping website, with an added bonus: you can designate which local school you’d like to support, and every time you make a purchase, Mamapedia will donate 5% to your school!  Plus, every time you share a deal with others, and they purchase a deal, you’ll earn $10 in Mamapedia bucks to put toward a future purchase.

If you’re new to Mamapedia, you can sign up here and you’ll be able to use code Newyear3 to save another $3, making it only $3 for a year’s subscription (or 2 years for $7!). Thanks, Spoiled But Not Rotten!
