If you missed my money-saving tips this morning on B105.7, here’s the rundown!
I am so excited it’s State Fair time. We go at least twice each year, once as a family and once as a date night. Not the most romantic place for a date, but when hubby and I go we can head into exhibits and take our time reading about all the different displays, enjoy an elephant ear and conversation without children. Really, if you have young children, need I say more?!
The major need-to-knows for Indiana State Fair discounts right now are:
- Midway wristband vouchers are available now through Thursday at Walmart for $17, which is at least a $5 savings. But hurry because once the fair starts you can no longer purchase these midway vouchers.
- Next Monday August 8, purchase an Indianapolis Star where you’ll find a coupon for one FREE admission to the Fair, 8/10-12.
The Coupon Database:
This week at Kroger, Pillsbury brownie mixes are on sale for $1. Pretty good price, eh? It can get better, with a coupon.
There are coupon databases online that let you plug in what you’re looking for, and it will tell you which coupon insert it was in. Sometimes there may even be a link to a printable coupon.
The coupon database that I go to most often is at InGoodCents.com. In this example, I plugged in “Pillsbury” in the Search box, and it lists the current Pillsbury coupons and which insert they’re in. If you’re clipping coupons every week, or saving your inserts, you would know then where to look for it. I found a coupon for 40¢ off of 1 Pillsbury brownie mix. Kroger will double that, making it 80¢ off, therefore making the brownie mix only 20¢.
