Welch’s Essentials 64 oz Possibly $1 ea at Meijer TODAY

by Ann-Marie on August 24, 2011

I was at Meijer this morning, and juice was one of a bajillion things on my list. I flipped through my coupon book, not excited about anything I found, until I pulled out a Meijer Mealbox coupon for $1 off of 2 Welch’s 64 oz juices. I checked for sale tags, and it was on sale 2 for $5. I grabbed an “Essentials”, cranberry & grape for DH and I, and saw a bright yellow hang tag on the White Grape Mango Peach (yum!) for $2 off of 2 Welch’s Essentials 64 oz. Score

I purchased 2 at $2.50 each (sale price, probably only good through today – Wed 8/24/11).

$5.00 – $1 Meijer Mealbox store coupon – $2 hang tag manufacturer’s coupon = $2.00 total for two.

Final price … $1 each!

I only saw these hang tags on the White Grape Mango Peach, and ymmv depending on your Meijer store sale and products available.

I saw this coupon and the sale for the Welches that ended yesterday. You must have gotten lucky when you used the Meijer mealbox coupon along with the coupon you got off the juice. The computer usually catches these and will not let you use both coupons.

Hi Sherry! Thanks so much for your comment. The Meijer Mealbox coupons are considered Meijer ‘store’ coupons and per their coupon policy, be used in conjunction with a manufacturer’s coupon for the same product. You are correct if both were mftr coupons you should not be able to use both in one transaction, but since one is ‘store’ and the other is ‘manufacturer’, it’s all good! (Same policy applies at Target btw!)
